Software Engineer/Developer
Job Summary/Responsibilities:
This position works with the Professional Services and Consulting team and will need strong communications, as well as analytical skills. This person will be skilled in programming languages in ASP.net, JavaScript, Web Services and Microsoft .NET. Day to day activities will include understanding our customer’s workflow and business process problems, and developing solutions to solve those business process problems.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop custom solutions and connectors with web based applications and mobile devices.
• Provide consulting and training services to customers. Analyze customer needs and design custom solutions consisting of processes, frameworks, interfaces and other components. Transfer those needs into functional and technical specifications. Design, develop and implement the custom solution.
• Perform software product installations and system configurations.
• Perform on-site technical troubleshooting.
• Develop custom integration applications.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline from a four year college or university; 1 to 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• SQL Server database design and deployment.
• Extensive experience with Windows applications, PC hardware & networks.
• Client-side scripting languages.
• .Net and SQL development skills.
• Visual Basic and/or .Net object programming.
• Proficiency in XML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C#, SOAP-based web services.
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
• Project management skills with a proven track record.

Sales Retention Coordinator
The primary responsibility of the Sales Retention Coordinator is customer retention, not only for their maintenance/support contracts, but overall satisfaction with Westbrook’s products. This will be accomplished through telephone contact as contracts approach expiration. This position will also have back-up responsibility to fulfill orders which includes configuring serial numbers and entering new customer accounts into our customer database (Microsoft Dynamics CRM), as well as maintaining the database including updating contact information periodically. This position has the potential to evolve into a software support or sales position. This person would report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
Software Maintenance/Support Contract and Overall Customer Retention
• Negotiate offers to retain customers on annual software maintenance/support that align with company financial goals.
• Work effectively with other team members to provide extraordinary support for external and internal customers.
• Identify trends and root cause customer issues in order to create proactive long term resolutions to retain customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities for our organization.
• Document customer requests, resolutions to customer issues, and negotiations with customers in a clear and concise manner.
Job Requirements:

• Ability to work with databases for collection and storing of customer information, in particular Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Education and Experience:

Preferred Skills
• Software background that incorporates technical understanding of software products, ideally in the document/content management area.
Specific Activities
• Make calls to current direct customers and resellers for maintenance/support retention. Must follow partner customer model if applicable.
• Establish if an existing direct customer is renewing their 12 month maintenance/software support contract through Westbrook; a report (aging list) is provided by the accounting staff.
• Contact resellers regarding their end users due for their 12 month maintenance/software support contract to identify if they have renewed or plan to renew; once again, an aging list will be provided by the accounting staff.
• Record and track all efforts in a Maintenance/Support Retention Case in customer record database; include all related parties, phone conversation details and email as an activity.
• Report all end users opting not to renew support to VP of Sales & Marketing and accounting.
• Collaborate with accounting and software support on efforts and payments received for accounts in pipeline.
• Forecast monthly revenue from this effort.
• Identify non-current, unsupported customers for support “win backs”.
• Review Sales Cancellation report provided by accounting.
• Contact all accounts/customers on list who have cancelled support; establish if the customer is aware support had lapsed/cancelled. Act accordingly.

Product Specialist
This position is responsible for creating and delivering highly technical training content for employees, partners, and customers in the use and implementation of Westbrook software products. This person would report to the Director of Software Support & Education.
Job Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Deliver classroom training to internal groups and external customers and partners including deep technical and user knowledge of Westbrook product lines; classes will take place at the Company’s headquarters, at a customer or partner site, or via the Internet.
• Work with customers or partner representatives on classroom logistical requirements.
• Coach content developers on technologies and solutions via instructor-led training, laboratory simulations and virtual training methods.
• Serve as an expert on the product line and focus on development expertise in related foundational technologies.
• Design, develop and maintain a complete set of technical and user training materials to support educational classes on the Company’s document management software for customers, partners and employees. This includes scripts, application modules, labs, testing procedures, product installation guides, product configuration templates, and presentations.
• Interact with customers, partners, engineering, and technical support to develop specifications for technical training content.
• Support training development by leveraging engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation.
• Work closely with Consulting and Consulting Development teams to generate training and technical documentation
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Document management knowledge and experience a plus
• Public speaking experience preferred
• Experience working with Articulate Storyline is a plus
• Experience in Windows and Microsoft Office tools
