Introduction Fortis Web uses ActiveX technology to allow the browser to view, add, modify and delete documents from Fortis. Starting with the release of Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) version 5.5 with SP2 applied and IE version 6.0, Microsoft has removed the ability to use Netscape style plug-in technology. The recommended alternative is ActiveX technology which is supported by IE version 5.x and above. FortisWeb ActiveX Control Choices
