Fortis options. Designed for ease of use and flexibility when
combining Fortis and Microsoft Office functionality, Office Sentry

initial release in early 2004, Sentry ensures that critical documents
and e-mails are securely stored in Fortis. With this latest release,
Sentry is even more powerful and versatile with added capabilities

“Check
in and check out” Fortis documents from within Word,
Excel and PowerPoint |
| If
a user wants to modify a Word, Excel or PowerPoint document
or page over a period of time, the user can “check
it out” of the Fortis database from within the Office
application. When finished editing, the user “checks
in” the modified file. |

Open
Fortis documents from within Word, Excel and PowerPoint |
| Efficiency
increases as Sentry allows Word, Excel or PowerPoint users
the ability to locate Fortis documents containing the appropriate
page type for the application (Word document, Excel spreadsheet,
PowerPoint presentation, etc.) and then choose to open
the document or page for editing within the Office application. |

| Capturing
Microsoft Office files is even faster as users can simply
select to “send” files to their Fortis database
by clicking a toolbar button, and Sentry can provide an
automatic “send to Fortis” when the user closes
a file. |
