Using information stored in an ODBC database, Fortis Data Entry Assistant updates documents and data with a few keystrokes – without retyping. Fortis Data Entry Assistant increases the speed and efficiency of indexing documents, and reduces data entry errors, thus saving time, money and resources.
The application works by matching the data entered into the index field with data from an external source. When the user starts Fortis Data Entry Assistant with a menu command or via a shortcut key, Fortis connects to the external application, searches the database and updates the data into Fortis. Fortis Data Entry Assistant is well-suited for businesses that perform large-volume indexing and back file conversions or require frequent index updates.
