Design and print transactional and variable content documents

With PlanetPress, you can design and print transactional and variable content documents, from a simple mail merge to documents varying completely in size, shape and content. Documents can be created with surprising ease to run directly on the printer/MFP with no host or server software. PlanetPress documents can be printed, archived, emailed and/or faxed as part of a sophisticated output management application driven by PlanetPress Watch.

PlanetPress Watch is an automated workflow tool to capture and route documents to their destination with no human intervention. With the addition of other modules, users can reduce costs and increase efficiency by simultaneously and automatically delivering documents via local/remote printing, email, fax and even to archive. You can also split production level printing between a number of printer/MFPs for round robin, job splitting or load balancing for better throughput.

PlanetPress Image is a module added into PlanetPress Watch that automatically generates a PDF, JPG, or multiple page TIFF for email and/or archive.

With the PlanetPressSuite, you can move to PostScript printers/MFPs from legacy printers. In addition, it provides the ability to dynamically tailor data streams into readable, printed materials like invoices with coupons specific to a monthly offer. PlanetPress can also replace any three-part forms.

As an example, a large hospital purchasing system is accessible via a Web form. The user enters data into the form to submit a requisition. The data from the form is populated into a SQL Server database and a resulting PlanetPress Watch process pulls the data from the table and generates a dynamic requisition document. Users can now refer back to an original paper document that was auto-generated thru PlanetPress.
