"Fortis User Fast Track" Webinars

Why Fortis User Fast Track?

Getting users trained is paramount if a customer is going to be able to take full advantage of their investment in Fortis. While a two-day User Education class is available, it isn't always appropriate for users to learn everything about Fortis' vast feature set. That fact was the impetus for creating Fortis User Fast Track. In just a few targeted, one-hour sessions, users can learn what they need to know to take on the new tasks introduced to their jobs when Fortis was implemented within their organization or to adapt to a new position that utilized a well-established Fortis implementation.

Each Web-based session is designed to last no more than one hour. These are not hands-on classes; all information is presented with product demonstration and, if appropriate, a PowerPoint presentation or notes pages. Each session allows for a question and answer period to ensure the audience understands the features they've seen.

Fortis User Fast Track sessions are "public", open to all customers, so may be attended by users from different customers working in different industries. For this reason, rather than using a copy of a customer's database or using an industry-specific database, the Fortis Demo software will be used throughout the sessions, focusing on the Westbrook University sample database included in the Fortis Demo software. As with most product training, each session is intended to teach concepts and features; users may need follow-up training to help them understand where the concepts fit within their specific Fortis implementation.

By purchasing a Fortis User Fast Track session, a customer may choose to have a single person attend the session, watching on their own computer and listening on their own phone. This is an ideal solution for a new hire or someone changing positions within an organization. However, the customer may opt to show the session via projector with the audio portion on speaker phone, and invite as many people as can fit into a conference room. This is an ideal solution for a new Fortis implementation when there are many users to be trained. The access to each session is the customer's to use in any way that best suits their current needs.
